Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet Review

Once upon a time, people would either go to a store to purchase a wallet or someone would buy it for them as a gift. Nowadays, online shopping is becoming more and more, the norm. But, how do you know if that wallet you are buying for yourself or someone else will fit everything they need it to fit. How do you know if the features such as easy access cards, RFID, or even a zipper will work properly from an online ad?
The truth is, you really cant. Which is why so many people turn to online reviews to find out more information about items they are considering purchasing.
This here is the Vaultskin Notting Hill minimalist slim leather wallet with zip around billfold and RFID Blocking. It’s the 2nd wallet I’ve reviewed (the first one I have written up for this blog so far). The first one I reviewed was the Ekster: Parliament – Slim leather wallet – RFID Blocking. The Ekster wallet had some of the best reviews of a wallet that I could find, and a price tag to follow. However, I really wasn’t a fan. When the Notting Hill wallet arrived, it was like night and day. I loved this wallet from the time I opened the box. (Note: Fake credit cards are used in the pictures of the wallet to show the space available.)

Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet

The Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet has the following features:

  • Premium designer style which combines functionality and convenience
  • Made from top grain genuine Italian leather and high quality metal
  • Pull string strap for your most used cards
  • High end RFID blocking
  • Four easily accessible external pockets as well as 2 inside pockets which should hold about 12 cards in total.
I can’t really tell you how the leather, zipper, and pull tab hold up after years of use; but after two months of use they are showing no signs of wearing down. The leather still looks immaculate. The zipper… well, it’s a zipper. It works as it should. Doesn’t get caught on anything. And the pull tab for the easy accessible cards still works as good as the day I got it.
The pull strap is meant for your two most used cards to give you access to them quickly and easily. You pull the pull tab and they both pop right up. They don’t get caught on anything, they don’t shift. It works like a charm. The cards that are in the pull tab pouch DO have RFID blocking. I tested it out myself.
The pocket right below it can hold 1-2 cards as well. This pocket DOES NOT have RFID Blocking.
Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet Side
On the other side, there are two more pockets. You can probably fit 2 cards in each. I’ve been putting 2 in the back pocket and my license in the front pocket. These two pockets also DO NOT have RFID Blocking. It’s quite easy to get your cards in and out of these pockets.
Inside, you have one pocket on one side and the other side has both a pocket with a button for coins and such; as well as a strap to hold your cash.  I can comfortably keep 3-5 bills in the cash holder. I use the coin pouch to keep coins for parking meters as well as a couple of dollar coins in case one of my kids loses a tooth.  You’ve been there before. It’s 8pm and your kid tells you they lost a tooth. Then you have to run around your house and car trying to find a couple of bucks.
The inside of this wallet DOES have RFID blocking. So, between the inside of the wallet and the quick pull pocket, you have plenty of places to keep your cards with the tap feature or work door badges.

Again, I love this Vaultskin Notting Hill Wallet. It has plenty of room for my 6 cards, medical and dental insurance cards, license, registration, concealed carry, 4 quarters, 2 dollar coins, and several bills. Whether it’s for you or for someone else, this wallet is awesome! Plus, if brown leather isn’t your color, it comes in several other color options.
